Scott Weiland was arrested today for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, after being caught leaving the scene of an accident he caused by hitting a parked car. Thats good publicity, isnt it

There's been no official work that STP have disbanded for good, so it's still accurate to call him STP's frontman, even though they haven't done anything for a while. And Velvet Revolver have done, what, one or two appearances?

Well Scott is lucky. The judge residing over his case has yet again given him leeway... He has assigned Scott to a 6 month rehab program, and has even given him permission to leave the program on occasion to record music for an upcoming Velvet Revolver CD.

Man, I hope it works this time. I don't know if all this leeway is a good thing. Hopefully, it will turn out to be the right move.

How many times is this now that he's gotten off of jailtime? He's only been put in jail once I believe (or at least had a lenghty sentence only once). He obvioulsy isn't getting the point being put in rehab. I know being addicted to drugs is probably a hard thing to do, but when you start endangering the lives of others...

Yeah, he's been in and out of rehab at least four times that I can recall, and probably more.

I know I heard about this on the radio, that he is back in rehab for 6 months. He is just in and out, in and out. When the DJ got done talking about the incident, they said, "Here is a song from one of his less cracked out days........here's "Plush"." I was like, "Man, what a thing to say" It makes me think of Robert Downy Jr. One time I was watching Jay Leno and he was doing his stand up at the beginning of the show and he said, "George Bush is wanting to cut the use of crack in the US in half......................he plans on doing so, by closing one of Robert Downy Jr.'s nostrils." I was laughing my ass off, I know it's really sad, but I am always hearing about Robert Downy Jr. in rehab.
