Hi, Steve...I noticed that the option to post a quick reply is now gone with the upgrade. Is that permanent? I used that all the time :D. Just wondering...

My avatar does not show up in the upper left hand corner when I sign on, or am on the opening page of the BB, does anyone else see this?:confused:

My avatar isn't showing up when I first logon to the board either, Jen. I'll have to try logging on to creedfeed.com and see if it shows up there.

Yes, I know all of these issues. The upgrade overwrote the additions I made to the board. I will add them in again shortly.

Actually, I'm going to be upgrading the boards again tomorrow - probably in the morning/afternoon time. I will be upgrading to the beta version of the brand new vBulletin software. I've already installed it to test it out:

This is what the board will be like when I go through with the upgrade. It's basically the same with a bunch of new features added in (or standard, like the Quick Reply).

As far as I know, you will not have to reregister for an account. All posts and users will be moved over to the new board when I run the upgrade. If, by some unlucky chance, the upgrade fails, you may have to register, but that is unlikely.

One other thing I noticed when I come to the site. It just says "There have been threads and posts since your last visit" but it doesn't tell me how many threads and posts. Is this just happening to me?

Yes the new board should run a bit faster. It is more efficient on the server-side of things. Sorry about the delay. I was planning on getting it up this afternoon but I ran into some other things I had to take care of so I didn't get a chance to finish the template for the new forum. I should be able to get it up tomorrow.
