if you've got KaZaA or other P2P software, I'm sure you could find some there. May take a while longer to download than if just doing so from a site (the transfer rate thing).

I was in need of my Creed video fix also and found all of their vids on Yahoo Launch- that is a great place to find all that stuff-try it!!

Launch is free and fairly easy to use; not recommended if you have a low bandwidth, though. Only problem is you can't permanently download any of the videos, so as to burn them to a disc or whatever.

well forget about the my own creed channel on mirc
it is nearly impossible to download videos from there.
The ones sharing these things should get hold of a better connection coz damn:(
No offense meant but seriously it is way too slow most of the times to even think about downloading videos.
Ok. to download mp3's though coz of their relative small size:P

I'm wondering what your nick is there at mIRC because I have had someone who's name vaguely resembles yours downloading from my server for the last two days and its THEIR connection that is slow....not mine. (it was transferring at between 1-2 kbps which is HIDEOUSLY slow!!! Normally, dls should run approx 20-30kbps)
I''m running cable and my downloads with other servers typically take around 30-45 min for a 50+MB file. and that's when the server I am downloading from is using dial up too. No offense to you, but if you're using dial up and expect to get a fast download, you're kidding yourself. If it was you trying to "get" from my server, the next time you are in there please ask me for some help and if there are no queues ahead of you I will do an automatic send to you and see if that fixes the problem. You also might want to check the setup on your dcc setup tab to make sure that it is correctly configured.

i am not using a dial up to your information. Actually I should be able to download at speeds exceeding 100 kb/s.
Btw. I hate freakin' dial up-users they kinda ruin it alot too, when they are trying to download videos, with speeds around 5 kb/s.
And my username here is nothing like the one im using on mirc. That is Jivey or something like that.

hey now....no attitude from me....I was just asking.

normally my dl run at least kbs too, but when you're in an environment like that where you're getting pulled at afrom all sides, then there's not much I can do about what the speed is.

The only thing that I can tell you is to either find a server who doesn't have many ppl queued up at one time or.....well, hit kazaa, I guess.

exactly.....this was the first complaint that I have heard myself as well. And almost everyday we are adding another server to the roster..so more to choose from!:bounce:

If you 2 know a channel/server which is actually fast then please tell me
coz i cant use turtles sending with 20 kb/s or less when it comes to videomaterial.
