Intresting chat I had on AIM

Her: so who are you going to ask to homecoming?
Her: chris was wondering if you were going
MetGuitarist16: I dont know if I'm going to ask anyone...
Her: how come?
MetGuitarist16: I dont know... just dont really like anyone right now
MetGuitarist16: Or, anyone that would go with me at least
Her: sadness
Her: you should ask tessie
Her: just as friends of course...
MetGuitarist16: I dont know, not sure she would even want to go with me
Her: i bet she would
Her: as her best friend, i would say my opinion is pretty reliable

Now, I would go with this girl in a heartbeat, but if she says no, it may destroy a nice friendship we have...

It may help you to know that she is a senior and I'm a sophmore, 2 year difference, but really we are like a little over a year in age

Is Tessie the senior? Sounds like "her" has some insight.

Yes. Tessie is the senior and "her" is Tessie's best friend

I would say the best friend has some insight as to what Tessie wants, and according to this, it sounds as if Tessie would like to go with you. Just my opinion.

She didn't say anything because I didn't ask, weird vibe I guess... everytime I would try to talk to her or something she looked at my like I had "Idiot" written on my face.

Aimee

Eric! Don't be a dud man! She's probably looking at you like that because she knows you want to ask her and she feels just as wierd as you do. Why don't you break the ice by asking her if she already has a date first? Then, if she says yes, you're off the hook. If she says no, then she's waiting for you to open your mouth!!!

That sounds like a great idea to me.

Dogstar

That's what I was going to do, but I never even got to see her alone at all, because I dont want her to feel obligated to say yes just because she's around a bunch of people

JulieCitySlicker
09-13-2003, 10:45 PM
That sucks Eric:thud: I'm the same way though:embarass: I would never ask a person out in front of a lot of peeps either:eek:
