Loudermilk!!!

I know Lechium mentioned this band some time ago, and today I finally picked up their CD The Red Record. I highly recommend it! It rocks. Cool vocals and quite a mix of sounds. I'm liking it tons (I'm about half way through it).

They put out their CD on Dreamworks Records. It's pretty cool. They have a lot of influences from what I can hear. Really good mix of loud and mellow.

Amish hasn't posted in FOREVER. You must have a great memory, Dan. I remember reading about it somewhere on here, but I am not sure when, it seems more recent then Amish. Maybe it was Lechium, Dogstar.

Some of the influences I can pick up (just one listen so far) are Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins, Days of the New....good stuff, a little punk influence. It's a really cool mish-mash of sounds.

I listened to the song on their website and the first band that came to my mind was The Smashing Pumpkins. They sounded pretty interesting. I'll have to check out some other songs from them. Maybe I'll add their CD to my "wish-list"

Well that's cool. I always liked Smashing Pumpkins so that gives me an incentive to buy their CD, now I am pretty sure I will like it.
