Last Uptade On Charlie...

Well unfortunatly this morning, when my mum uncovered Charlie, he was on the bottom of the cage asleep for good :( The illness that he must have had probably just took over, but when we got him out he had his eyes closed, so that's a good sign, it means that he wasn't in any pain when he died he would have just gone off to sleep for good. Afterschool today me and my family are going to have a funeral for him, and say good bye for good :(

Haley-I'm sorry that Charlie died. I know that you cared alot about him. Sometimes people think that the smaller the pet is, the less that we care about them, but that just isn't true. The small creatures that share our lives with us are just as important as the larger animals that are around us. Love has no size. I'm sure that he loved you just as much as you loved him. Yeah...it does...but i'm okay :) Sometimes i'll go to sit where his cage was and then realise that he's not there anymore (sound pathetic? lol) And it's really sad because i loved him so much.

I have ALWAYS wanted a ferret, but i think if i was to get one, my mum would go...hmm let's just say....APE SHIT!!! :lol: :lol:

I might get one when i move out though (that won't be for awhile)

And i mean i could get a dog, but it would have to be a short hair one, exepct that our property is nowhere for dogs to be. We don't have a fence, and our property just kinda goes downhill and there is bush and farm land and stuff so he would very likley get lost or run over by a train cause there is a track just next to our house:(

Awwww Dogstar i love you! :hugs: Thank you so much...I'll be okay, i'll remember one thing that he used to do. Because his cage was by our dining room table, whenever our family used to sit down and eat, he would come right up to the corner of the cage right next to where i was sitting, turn upside down, and have a good gawk at me eating :lol: it was so cute. And whenever i used to go to school i used to kiss him goodbye on the beck...:crying: :crying: But over the last couple of months since he hasn't been himself he's gotten vicisous and hasn't let me do it. But i've got awesome memories of him :)

Awww....I just found this thread and wanted to say that I am SO sorry about Charlie. I know you loved him very much and that you tried to help him get better. I just went through losing my dog Bear and I know how hard it is to have a pet that you truly love die. I know I will always miss Bear and be sad that he is gone....but I have so many happy memories of him that will keep him alive FOREVER in my heart---as I'm sure you do of your sweet birdy!
