Hey guys and gals. I have been getting bored listening to some of the current music out right now and have been trying to dig up some of the hit songs few a year, two, or few more years back. For instance, Cold - "Just Got Wicked"

Please post some good songs from bands that had hits out a few years back. I'm not talking strictly one-hit wonder bands, I just mean bands that we haven't heard from in awhile as we await their next CD release. (another example I can think of off the top of my head is Dust For Life)

Always liked Black Hole Sun and almost anything by R.E.M. Everybody Hurts, It's the End of the World As We Know It, and Man on the Moon were awesome as well.

Anyone remember The Nixions...they came out with the single called "Sister" about the same time Tonic came out with "Open Up Your Eyes". I remember hearing those songs over and over for months. :)

Ok... skip the big name bands... name some less popular bands or bands that only had one cd released...

The Nixons would be a good example, same as Cold... bands like that which aren't popular enough to sell $30 concert tickets.... :)
