So I was at their show last night and I never got a name for this song:

http://members.optushome.com.au/tremontisi...%20Untitled.mp3 (http://members.optushome.com.au/tremontisizd/Audioslave%20(Live%20in%20Sydney%2024-4-03)%2011%20-%20Untitled.mp3)

Ill probably share the rest of the concert with you guys when I'm finished fixing up the sound.

(PS. They rocked my socks off. Awesome stuff)

Said Eyes, I can never get those clips to play, but I know Audioslave have included a number of covers in their shows. At the Philly show they played Rush's Working Man...pretty kick-ass version, too, I might add. And thanks in advance if you're sharing the whole show. You ROCK! I'd love to get it. Where are you? I know they have been in Australia for a while.

I found a review of the Sidney concert. It says they played I am the highway acoustic... cool!

"They included 2 or 3 new songs into the set which I had not heard, as well as the Funkadelic cover 'Super Stupid', "

I *love* this one Audioslave song, "Like a Stone". It sounds so cool. And I really like the beginning line, "On a cobweb afternoon, in a room full of emptiness..." It's a neat song.
Hey, Said Eyes, hope you had mad fun at the show!!! :dancing:
Hope you have fun too Dogstar!! :bounce:

Said Eyes - if you can share the show, PLEASE DO!!! :-) I am starting to get into collecting Audioslave bootlegs.

The song you have there is: (What's So Funny 'Bout)Peace, Love And Understanding - it was originally performed by Elvis Costello and written by Nick Lowe. Here's the lyrics:

As I walk through
This wicked world
Searchin' for light in the darkness of insanity.

I ask myself
Is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred, and misery?

And each time I feel like this inside,
There's one thing I wanna know:
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding? Ohhhh
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

And as I walked on
Through troubled times
My spirit gets so downhearted sometimes
So where are the strong
And who are the trusted?
And where is the harmony?
Sweet harmony.

'Cause each time I feel it slippin' away, just makes me wanna cry.
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding? Ohhhh
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

So where are the strong?
And who are the trusted?
And where is the harmony?
Sweet harmony.

'Cause each time I feel it slippin' away, just makes me wanna cry.
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding? Ohhhh
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding? Ohhhh
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

I love that they are doing covers. They are such a nice surprise!

Steve, do you know if there is a bootleg of the Philly show on 3/7? I would love to get my hands on that!

Thanks for that, Steve. It'd gonna take me a couple of days to get it sounding good (crowd is too loud, amongst other things). I do have some other audioslave bootlegs, but I think youwould all like this link:

Plus I have their shows from Paris, Milan and Minneapolis if anyone is interested. Dogstar, to get it playing, try using Winamp (www.winamp.com (http://www.winamp.com)).

Said Eyes, what is the date of that show you posted a link to ... it says

23/9/03 Atlanta, GA @ Tabernacle

what would that be month/day/year?

23rd month? Damn this lousy Twentember weather!

Your guess is as good as mine, (though I'd guess it was a march show?). I'd look at the audioslave.com for when they played that venue.
The show there changes often, so check back.

It's probably 3/9...they were in Philly on 3/7...that would work geographically. :D

Does it make a difference? I have a very slow modem connection: 28.8 is all I can get out of a 56k modem on my crappy phone lines. :(
