texas is $9.9 billion dollars short for the next fiscal year. so the state is trying to come up with new ways to make up that money. the problem is that texas is that when our lawmakers say "We wont raise taxes!" they are not kidding, they are sticking to thier guns.

So...... the Austin Statesman made this online game that lets you take control of the texas budget. chose where you want and dont want to cut money. from every choice you make it give you your chances orf re-election.
