Bullets "solo"?

ok....i kno it's not really a "Solo" solo....but the part where he does the sliding and/or tremolo effect........can someone give some pointers on how to do that??....I'm clueless!!...thanx!

I'd ask hide_tremonti about this, she tabbed out almost all of the songs for tremonti.net.

Mark plays this song live with his Platinum guitar with the whammy. For that part with all the bends stuff, he's just using that whammy.
You can imitate it pretty closely by doing bends on the 5th and 3rd frets on the low D string. Also throw in some harmonics here and there....etc.
