Evanescence is one of Wind Up's bands. I don't know to much about them. I heard their song "Bring Me To Life" because it's the theme for the WWE No Way Out PPV. I really like it. They are also featured on the Daredevil soundtrack. Their cd "Fallen" comes out March 4th.

it's hard to tell what the whole cd will be like because the two songs on the Daredevil soundtrack, "Bring Me To Life" and "My Immortal" are complete opposites. I really like "Bring Me To Life", but "My Immortal" is a slow love ballad, it's a good song just not my style.

Doesn't it come out in March or something. I heard one song, they sound a lot like Linkin Park to me, except they add that chick in there. I am tired of them wearing the one song out.

i never listen to the radio, but it comes out in March 4th

if your sick of that song I suggest you download "My Immortal" it's about as far from Linkin Park as you can get

Yeah, my cousin is in a band here....he's been telling me about Evanescence for awhile now. It's really cool when a local band gets noticed. There's another local band here called Wake the Dawn...their really good too.

I have heard them on the radio here in VA and can't wait for the CD to come out! I like a good lead singer chick who can ROCK!!!! Way back in the days when I was a teen I loved Lita Ford and Heart! Yeah I will definatley by this CD!!!!:dancing:

That's cool that they are from Little Rock, I didn't know that. That is neat. I bet we will get a ton of their CD's in at work whenever it comes out. I will have to get one.

If any of you use KaZaA then you can download alot of audio from some promo cds previously released. Alot of their older stuff sounds real dark and gothic, but it sounds like, according to their guitarist, that they're changing their sound from the gothic days. I do like their 2 songs on the DareDevil album! :cool:

is it just me, or does the song 'like a stone' sound just like pearl jam?

i heard it on the radio and i was like "hey.... looks like vedder doesnt suck ass anymore!"

then i saw the video and i was sadly mistaken.....

but back to my point, thats the only song in which ive heard cornel sound like vedder.

I don't think it sounds at all like PJ. There's no mistaking Cornell's voice, IMHO. He and Vedder don't sound at all alike.

I went to the "official" web site of theirs. It is cool, boy she is young!!! I have a feeling I will like their music, I can't wait until Tuesday!:dancing: I always like good rock music, and I hope to not be dissapointed.

We got ours in at work today and I listened to the WHOLE CD, it is VERY good. It comes out Tuesday and we got 480 copies. I thought it would SUCK. They thanked Juanita's and LICK 106.3 here in town, inside the cover. The CD has her on the front and she looks really young and sort of gothic on the cover, I guess that is the way they wanted it to look. She sounds a lot older to me on the CD. I really liked it, a lot more then I thought I would.

I know, we are allowed to get it Monday, but not today, which Monday is still sooner then anyone else, but anyway. It's really good. I liked that one slower song that they played at the funeral on DareDevil. It's good. I will get it. I have a friend who works at Juanita's and I wish I would have went and seen them before they went big. Just never paid much attention.

I've been listening to their cd for a couple of days now and I really like it. Bring Me To Life is such a good song, but then they had that guy absolutely ruin it with his little bit. They used to have a guitar solo in there instead. I blame wind-up because it was their decision to do it, not the band's. It's much better without the 12 Stones guy.

Also, try looking for Going Under, it just proves how mad her voice can be, and also has a kick ass guitar solo. I also like Hello, its a nice song.

They also do some pretty mad covers. They played Orestes (A Perfect Circle) at a promotional thing and it was really really good.

WOW!!!! I bought the Cd today and boy am I impressed!!! It is great! Amy sure has an incredible voice!! It is great to have some new music and with a girl lead singer to boot! I think the CD is awesome! It kinnda reminds me of Heart but heavier!

We don't have Media Play, we do have Circuit City. I don't ever think to go there. Target is a good place for music. They are reasonable. I would NEVER buy music at the mall. CD's are 19.99, that is ridiculous.

I almost missed it. I was crashed on the couch watching Leno and I woke up at 11:53 and they came on at like 11:58. I was almost alseep when I heard it. I am glad I didn't miss it.
