Guys,

I'm going thru a lot of emotional stuff right now, today at work was really rough for me, I kept falling apart :crying: :crying:

CREED's music has inspired me very much, more than anyone else's music (including Prince) But here lately, everytime I put on a CREED cd I start crying :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Does their music sometimes make you all feel sad?

SORRY about the way you feel, But CREED has pulled me out from so many depressing days that i cannot feel sad when i listen to them, I found there music in a time in my life that i really needed for them to be there, So i kind of think it was fait:rolleyes:

I am sure you will get through whatever it is you are going through. You are probably feeling a lot of emotion with Creed's music because it could be bringing out feelings you really haven't dealt with yet, or bad memories or something. It could just be that it makes you think about stuff and that is what is making you sad. Try to sort out your thoughts and feelings and once you realize what it is that is getting you down, try to change it and make it better. Then you can rock to Creed like you used to!

I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time, Yvonne...I hope it gets better for you soon. I agree with what hotforscott said. Sometimes, I find myself listening to music just so that I CAN cry or release anger or sadness. It helps me release and then I can figure out what it is I need to fix, sometimes by the songs I choose. I try to think about what's going through my head when I choose my music. It's like my subconscious trying to send me a message.

Yeah so sorry Yvonne hope it all gets better for you:P

And yes definitly actually most of the time creed makes me cry (not in a sad way) like every time i listen to them...it's a wonderful feeling, it's just so overwhelming. Happens everytime and i don't let it stop because it's such a beautiful feeling.

I have to agree. Sometimes I listen to certain songs just to help me work through whatever it is I'm going through or feeling. Believe me, Yvonne, there have been times I've found myself crying listening to Creed. I was listening to Hide about 2 weeks ago which normally makes me feel good and I just cried.

I'm sorry that you're having a tough time right now. When you're going through it it really sucks but life will get better. Hang in there. Peace.

Sending you lots of comfort and hugs. Creed's music does that to me too....some of those songs (OLB, WTLF, Inside Us All) help me go deeper and cry when I really need to release that sorrow and pain. Tears are so cleansing. Then, other times Creed's music has strengthened me, lightened my burden, comforted me and rocked me back into the Light Their music has such a passionate energy to make me feel and to heal. I listen to different songs for different needs - emotional places I am at in my life. Lately, it's been "To Whom It May Concern", Weathered, and "Who's Got My Back'. I do believe that 'All that has been devastated can be recreated..We pick up the broken pieces Of our lives. Giving ourselves to each other'. The board has been so helpful - I've cyber and personally met some caring, whacky, fun friends. Life can unload some heavy sh$# sometimes.. right music is therapy. So just hang tight, rock strong, feel all that's real - and know you have a community here for you.

I cried my eyes out during this song at the NYE show, creedfan63. It usually makes me feel good, too, but I was really worried about this friend who was going through a horrible time and the song just fit his situation. It felt good to get it out.

Sometimes it does feel good to get it out. Sometimes you just need to cry!

Sorry to hear about your friend, Dogstar. I hope everything is going better for them. Hide is such as awesome song!!

Music (especially Creed) is just so powerful!! Like souldancer said it's like therapy and it gets me through the hard times, empowers/strengthens me when I need it and lifts me up even Higher (LOL!!) when I'm feeling good.:)

You are so right. I hope your friend is doing better as well, Dogstar. I so would have loved to have been at that New Years Eve show. It sounds like an awesome experience.

Isn't it amazing, that you can hear a song so many times and yet it still illicits such powerful emotions? I can't even count how many times I have heard songs like WGMB, and DSD and I still find myself having feelings like anger, sadness, and joy...even if I wasn't aware they were there. It almost doesn't matter what it's "about" really, as long as you get the feelings, the energy moving. I think I would feel really stuck in it, if it wasn't for the music. Sometimes I wonder what the other drivers on the road think if they catch me wiping tears away or banging on my steering wheel (heehee). Ah, who cares! I'm really grateful and I can't wait to hear the next CD!!!! Just think....twelve (or so) more songs to play over and over and over..... YAY!:P

I know, I am so excited. I can't wait to hear the new stuff. It is so exciting to anticipate how it will be.

Everyone's saying such beautiful things, especially souldancer--I loved your post!! I feel exactly the same way. I couldn't have said it better myself!
I'm telling ya, Yvonne, I'm scared to listen to Inside Us All b/c I know I'm gonna cry a river. Girl, I know exactly what you're talking about. Some Creed songs bring up memories of things in my life, like DSD brings up a memory of my favorite cousin Tina (who's like 8) and makes me cry (because I don't think I'll ever see her again), and Inside Us All reminds me of a time when I was in this field and the sun was shining and all was beautiful and I finally felt "the peace inside us all" that Stapp was singing about. That definitely brings the tears because I can't get that feeling again.
Oh yeah--I'm rambling again. I just want you, Yvonne, to know that we all support you and all that good stuff! Just hang in there and I'm sure Creed will bring you through!

KBoo, if I had a car I'd be banging on my steering wheel too!!! :D

I'm so happy to hear you're feeling better today, Yvonne.

It still amazes me how we have so much in common!! I was out driving the other day with my Weathered CD playing and DSD came on and I was in a certain mood and before you know it, I was crying!! Then there are times I beat on my steering wheel too when I'm feeling good or I'm listening to a favorite song. I love doing that, it's so much fun!!

Damn...I wish I had a car. Maybe I'll go out to my dad's truck and beat on *his* steering wheel. :D
But then again, he doesn't have a CD player in his truck, so how am I gonna listen to Freedom Fighter to get in the mood to beat on the steering wheel???
Ah, whatever.

Sorry to here that, Redeemer. It is a lot of fun. I love cranking up the volume and blasting my Creed all around town!! I don't have a CD player in my car either so I bring my portable one.

A CD player for the car is next on my list. It's going to rock. Right now, I drive with headphones on sometimes, which isn't really a good idea. I just finished paying for my car, so that extra cash will go toward the player and then I can crank Creed all over town, too. Wooooo-hoooooooooooooo, watch out, Philly!!!

My Cd player in my car is one of the best features it has, I LOVE IT!!!!! I crank open the sun roof and listen to the tunes and love it!!!!!:)

I know, I would die without my car CD player. I listen to it more then the one in my house. Since I have a new car, I am using the one that came with it, but it my old car, I put one in it and it wasn't that costly. I think 175.00 for the CD player and installation. It was a JVC I think. I wish I was without a car payment. That'd be awesome. I only did mine for 3 years though so it's not that long. By then I am determined to get a SUV.

I'm hoping to go another two years with this car and no payments. Would be nice to save that $$ for something else!

I'm probly gonna do like my dad did and buy a car off of someone I know, or someone who put an ad in the classifieds. That way I won't have a car payment. And the first thing on my "to get" list will be a CD player, because I def want to blast Creed all over town!!

KBoo925

Don't have a CD player, but I have my Creed songs on tape (that's like ancient now, I know). Still, the music comes through loud and clear (and louder still) and I'm flying.:bounce:

Finally got your message Dogstar, thanks. Gosh, I've really been out of touch. Nice to be back and I hope you are all doing well.
PEACE

Great fun in my own little world. NO road rage. A hint... I finally got a new CD player for the car, but since I have a rental car, I realize I NOW need new speakers for my old car!

Hey, I got a question: Does anybody have anything really quirky on their license plates?? I once saw a license plate that says "Creed" on the 'Net. I want to move back to NC b/c you can have up to 8 characters on your plate. That way I can put "rockstar". :D Or maybe "Stappgrl"?? :D :D

I don't but a CA Creed Fan has a plate "LuvCreed" and she took it to the Las Vegas concerts - we were right on rail so the band had a good view of it.
