FREE download of Office 2010

Click the link. Click on "Get It Now" in the upper right hand corner. Enter your info (address, email, etc). If it says it sends you a confirmation email and it doesn't, click the "Manage your account" (or something like that) in the lower left hand corner and then click the back button (that's what I did) and it'll give you the download page and the product key.

As far as I can tell, it's completely legit. I've downloaded it and have been using it. It does not ask for credit card info, sign up for special offers, say it's just a trial that you'll pay for later... nothing like that. So... yeah. Have at it.

Thanks for the link. The download is only a beta version. No idea what will happen with this but when Microsoft released Windows 7 beta, the keys only activated the program for a certain period of time, and then it expired and you had to either purchase a valid key or remove it. I can't see any fine print describing this for the Office download though so who knows.

Note, just going through the install process and in the TOS you have to agree to before you install it says this:

5. TIME-SENSITIVE SOFTWARE. The software will stop running on 31/10/2010. You will not receive any other notice. You may not be able to access data used with the software when it stops running.

openoffice is really good and free free freeeeee. has word processor and spreadsheet and all sortsa stuff! So good!!!! And u have the option of saving as an actual open office document or a microsoft office document so its really cool!

Office is a program package from Microsoft that has a word processor, spreadsheet, email exchange, and other various programs used for word processing/office publication type things. It's the most widely used program for word processing in the United States. I'm don't know about worldwide.
