He's on my friends list, and I got this bulletin this morning:
" I want to thank everyone of you for visiting my page and for all the support you've given me. I'm in the studio working on a new record which I am very excited about =). I will do my best to stay in touch with all my myspace friends. I'll be doing a video blog soon as well.
The best is yet to come!"
It appears he's in the process of recording a new CD. I'd like to hope that he's resolved all of his personal issues and that this is truly for the best.

Yeah I have Stapp as a friend aswell.
I'm so glad to hear news again from him.
I quite like his new website Scottstapponline.com.
Also, I dont think I noticed the fan club before, is this new ?
I used to have him as a friend but he hasn't accepted my request yet on my new account. Thanks for the info.

Like his new message. Thanks for letting us know. I've been listening to Lifehouse new one lately. Lifehouse has gotten better with time, as I'm sure Stapp will also. I remember when they were on some Vh1 show together. But then again, Stapp is always good enough for me.:)

I just recently added him as a friend. Great to hear that there is new material on the way.
Yeah I just added him and he accepted my request the next day. That's way faster than most artists do. I can't wait to hear some new material from him.

See, I liked TGD. Sure, it wasn't an amazing album, but it had some very good tracks on it. The rest of the tracks were at least decent, imo. But I am hoping he improves his lyrics, vocals and music on the next one.

I'd venture to say his MySpace was probably hacked into. I don't see Stapp filling his friends list with a bunch of sluts. That's the work of a hacker--which happens a lot on MySpace.

You honestly think Scott added a bunch of sluts and put them as his top friends? And that WU would be OK with that? I highly doubt that. Especially when you consider the fact that his influences and other things on his profile changed. It's clearly the work of someone else.

In all seriousness, he is still promoting himself (with the new stuff that's up) that's why I believe he wasn't hacked. Plus he's been updating his fans with news, which is what started this thread in the first place.

It is about being "straight up" about who you really are and realizing what you can be…I've learned that you have to be you no matter what. Life is such a precious gift. Why not do what you want to do with love in your heart and not hurting anyone?
I feel that way at 29 and holding. Thanks for all the birthday love! After 21…I lost track of my age. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you all and I'm back…(if you care)

Pouring myself into the music during the rough times in my life has brought something back to my songwriting that as a developing songwriter I could not hear and was not aware of as I was writing it. what happened to the tea party?????? i am a big fan of scott but TGD wasnt really what i know scott can put out.. he is awesome but some of the lyric in TGD was kinda wack... fly around like superman... come on stappy you da man give us some heavy dark raw rock like you used to during MOP.. torn.. my own prison... remember... bring back that rock on rock hard attitude
I agree the superman part and all that rhyming was kind of wierd, but it was still alright. I loved TGD. I can't wait to see what he does next.

As for the half naked women, which I will not call them "hoes" maybe he did put them up there, who knows. It's his myspace, he could of easily said to anyone who is running it, to take them off, I'm sure he checks it, don't u think? Or, he could of easily taken them off himself, as I said he checks his myspace. I see some of the half naked women have been taken down, but he still has some of the same women on his top. Scott does have a humorous side to himself, so I think the "Robert Goulet" thingy was him, lol! I just hope that he takes the time he needs and gets himself the help he needs b4 he goes out on the road, that's the temptation part, big time!
