My friend put whiskey on her child's gums when she was teething, she swears by it and she is a nurse too. It kind of freaked me out though, the thought of whiskey in a child's mouth?!:eek:

My mother used to do that to me with my gums when I was teething too. Maybe that explains my drunken tendancies! (just kidding). I don't think I'd do that to my own kids, though.
