In a Few weeks I'm going down to Biloxi Mississippi with my youth group to help with the Hurricane relief... We're going to help strip houses, rebuild houses, or whatever else we can do to help down there. I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone down there and done any hands on work to help these people... I'd love to hear some of your experiences!!!

Peace- Matt

I've only helped monetarily and with donations of clothes and such, but I know some people in my company went to Biloxi to help what was then our sister newspaper down there. Our company has since been sold and now all the papers are owned by different companies/people. We used to get weekly reports of the goings-on down there, from finding people to helping people find new places to live and all. It's no easy task. It's great you are going down there to help, Matt. Every bit helps.

yep, I went there over my spring break in March with Campus Crusade for Christ here, and I'm going again this Saturday as a college leader with my home church's high school youth group back in St. Louis. It's awesome; anybody who has a chance to go definitely should.
