It seems that Scott will be a special guest on tour with the Inxs.....I found some tickets on Ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/INXS-with-Scott...1QQcmdZViewItemand

some dates in Canada can be found here: http://www.hob.com/apps/search/index.asp?q=scott+stapp"It's really weird that Scott would be a guest with the Inxs, they're okay, but their music doesn't have much in common. Oh, and I'm not sure if the shortcuts will work...

That is interesting that Stapp would tour with INXS. As far as I'm concerned though, INXS died when Michael Hutchence died. Their new singer (thanks to one of the worst shows on T.V., Rock Star INXS) is a big tool. If you're the type of person who finds Stapp cheesey, then I can guarantee you that J.D. Fortune far surpasses him.

It is a pretty weird pairing....and surprising that Stapp would be the opener, not the other way around. I'm guessing that Stapp might only be joining them for the Canada dates as those are all that is listed at this point.

Maybe INXS is promoting the new season of Rockstar and they're choosing a new singer for The Scott Stapp Band!

LOL!

edited coz apparently I can't spell INXS! LOL!

I hope he(Stapp) adds some more dates. Specifically some Michigan ones.

LOL!

Wouldn't it be better to choose a new guitarist?

For some reason, the only words that appear in my head after reading this thread is "SELL-OUT".

Chase, I can't believe I'm about to type this, but for once, I agree with you.

I actually like the guitarists for goneblind. They actually have stage presence, unlike some other guitar gods I've heard of. And you don't have to watch this....

You know the whole "pawnshop band" quote? I kinda derived my joke from that and the fact that GB's guitarists aren't quite on the same level as Tremo. In retrospect, it wasn't that good of a joke on my part.

So I did get... but I assumed you wouldn't "criticize" them per say, that's why I thought it didn't make sense!

Easy choice after skipping Europe ,INXS is much more important.Makes me wanna puke!

What sucks is that INXS will be in Nashville next week, but without Scott. I don't see Scott playing here anytime soon.:mad1:

Excuse me...but who the hell are INXS? I recognize a couple of their songs, but I've honestly never heard of them. Um, I'm glad there are more dates added now but it doesn't seem right that Stapp will be opening for some 80's band I dont even know of.

I don't yet understand why he is opening for inxs. They always have and probably always will suck.

Bridge of Clay
04-27-2006, 10:02 AM
because being an opening act is the only way for him to sell tickets...

Bridge of Clay
04-27-2006, 10:04 AM
seriously now, it's all good: Stapp will play in front of a different crowd and get more attention to him as a solo artist better than headlining a tour of his own.

A weird pairing indeed. I never liked INXS enough to see them in concert.

The guy hasn't even played California yet... and that's in his own country... he realistically should be playing the States before anywhere else.

Well yeah... INXS is playing like Indian reservation casinos and stuff. That usually is an indication that a band is way past their prime. lol

Tuesday, June 13th. INXS and Scott will be performing at an Indian casino (Tachi Palace) near me.

http://www.thepalace.net/ (click on events)

Other acts like Poison, Cinderella, .38 Special and Kansas are other groups featured.

I'm not going because I've already spent a few bucks on Chili Pepper tickets :smokin: and my work schedule just won't allow it.
