I heard it like 4 years ago, and i still like it now, everytime it comes on the radio.
I love the guitar work, and it's just such a sad, sad song.

I actually don't like Freshmen, but I'll explain.

Back when I first heard the Verve Pipe on a local radio many, many years ago, they quickly became one of my favorite bands, and I really got into them. In fact, they were the first band I EVER saw live. And even though I was pulling for them to hit it big, when Freshmen came out, I got really annoyed how I would see all these random people singing along to it in public. I have a distate for most things popular (strange that I like Creed, huh?), so it just turned me off. Then I checked out their next CD, and it was experimental but unendearing. But these guys have got themselves a minor hit on the radio recently, and it's pretty catchy tune. So, here are the songs I'd recommend downloading:

1. Photograph (their best, by far... I love this song)
2. Villains (title track to their 2nd CD)
3. Never Let You Down (their new single)

And by the way, the Verve and the Verve Pipe are definitely not the same band. The Verve were responsible for that song, Bittersweet Symphony. If you've never heard of that song, download it; you'll have the good fortune of not getting sick of it like every other radio-owner in America! But if you really want an amazing song off that Verve album, Urban Hymns, you should check out either of the following:

1. Lucky Man
2. The Drugs Don't Work

Amazing songs, both of them.
