View Full Version : You have to give Jaclyn props....

Because she has stuck with him no matter all the trouble he's gotten himself into. First off on Thanksgiving when Stapp announced they where to be wed he get's drunk "supposedly" (one can hope not, but it's true 98.8% of the time) and get's into a fight "supposedly" with the band 311. And still Jaclyn stuck with him, then he get's drunk again on the TV show Casino Cinema and still Jaclyn has stuck with him. Then now in the airport on the way to their honeymoon he gets drunk again and then arrested...oh well I guess no honeymoon and she's still with him. I seriously give her props, Scott Stapp may be one of the worlds best rock singers (in our own opinions) but he's still a big old ball of trouble who needs to seriously consider going into rehab if he can't control himself. So all who agree that Jaclyn should get major props post after me....

I don't know. She may really love him where she is delusional in thinking that he'll change, like most women in abusive relationships. Who knows why she's still with him, maybe she has self-esteeem issues (yes even former Miss NY can have issues). Or she simply married him for the fame/money.

so scott talking about it and admitting it in interviews still constitutes as "supposedly" huh? sweet!

Hey there everyone! I love Scott and all, and totally agree I think he still needs some help )which I hope he gets). However I am a little sceptical on the Jaclyn issue. I mean they only knew each other for about a year before marring, and Scott has spent so much time in trouble, and in and out of rehab, that I'm not sure she married him for the right reasons!? I would think if you really loved someone and wanted to be with them, you would make sure they were healthy for themselves, as well as you. I think you would stand behind them and wait for them, but I think you would hold off a little while before diving into something as seriuos as marriage. I also wonder if she has thought what all those drugs Scott has done, could possibly effect thier future children!? Either way though, you got to admit, she has the world on a silver platter. If things don't go right for her and Scott, then the whole world will feel sorry for her, and she will have lot's of attention from the press, not to mention some of Scott's money. If things do work out for them, well she still get's Scott, his money, and a little attention from the press! Let's not forget that bad press can work foryou just as much as good press. But honestly, for Scott's and Jagger's sake, I hope she truely does love Scott and Jagger, and is willing to go the long haul. I would really love to see Scott truely happy, and staying healthy. May God be with them and thier marriage!!

From what i have heard she is very religous and comes from a religous family. Also she is running the SS Foundation so there must be some commitment there.

Allow me to add a twist, what about Scott's love for Jaclyn? She may stand by his side, but how many times does she have to endure humiliation?

Well said. Which is why I refuse to talk about these kinds of things. The only thing I wish to discuss about Stapp is his music.

But maybe it's the "rock star wife" that she's going for also. Who knows. But I think they rushed in a little to quick.

Considering she's been on here for over two years longer than you it seems to make sense that she would have more posts... now wouldn't it? You gossip queen, you.

I think Jaclyn's out of her mind. For one, we have a celebrity marriage here (even if she isn't a big movie star, she's famous for being beautiful). Given that most such relationships don't work out, I can't say that I'm entirely optimistic about the quality of the relationship in general.

Anyone has to be out of their mind to marry Scott Stapp but if she really loves him which (not to offend) I seriously doubt because considering what's involved with marrying a famous singer I mean think about it... he has an in with wind-up, he's famous (not much anymore) but still he did have a good run until the booze took over and she probably needed an in with the business. Look if she loved him great, much props to her, but I was saying at the beginning I give her props for even putting up with him. Look think about it would you be able to put up with his drinking, and getting into trouble. Look I think he rocks, I also think after his tour he should go into rehab for at least a month....I give props to Jaclyn for sticking it through, through all his crap....I give her props, never said she loved him
